i will tell you all of the keys to good computer management.

FIRST: its always good to have some antivirus. avast should do the trick. be sure to also use spybot search and destroy with

avast becuase together they are a great combination. avast is as good at killing viruses as hank is at killing people.

SECOND: the second biggest piece of good computer management is to use a registry cleaner. now im not gunna lie, i have heard alot of things about making a backup of the registry becuase of errors that can possibly fuck up your com forever, but i have been using registry cleaners for 2 years now and i still havent had one problem at all. so i really dont know about those accusations. other free registry cleaners: MV RegClean 5.5 AML Free Registry Cleaner 4.7

THIRD: its HUGELY reccomended to use the disk defragmenter that is already installed on your computer. all of those third party defragmenters that cost money are all bullshit. for most people it should be in this. location. its always good to defragment at the LEAST every 2 days, and at the most everyday.

FOURTH: cleaning out. its great to always use the default disk cleanup that is already installed on your computer. it deletes windows temporary files and compresses old files that havent been used in awhile. sometimes compressing old files can save up to literally 3 gigabytes of space. it did for me once. and if that does not satisfy you enough then you can also use the free third party programs CC cleaner and the free version of glary utilities. they both also have a registry cleaning function as well as a file cleanup function. but glary utilities also has a shitload of other usefull stuff for advanced users like me. :P

FIFTH: if the bigger programs like windows media player 11 always lag way to much to the point where it slows down everything else that you are using, then smaller more compact programs can help. for a nice small msuic playing program you can use evil player. it doesnt take years to open and doesnt lag like the bigger programs do. if playing movies makes you lag or they arent even playing then you can download the full package of the K-Lite Codec Pack 4.2.5 be sure its the FULL VERSION. that should do the trick. or another alternative is VLC media player.

well follow all of those steps and keep following them and your computer should almost always be good as new! >:3 if i missed anything or just didnt explain it clearly enough then tell me and i will gladly fix it up for you.
